Excellent clamps, well-made, sturdy. These are strong clamps, and the clover is designed to make the clamps grip harder the more the chain is pulled. The chain is made of decent metal, and you can hear when it clinks that it means business. It's not flimsy, as opposed to some other chains that are either wimpy metal or some kind of plastic. Chain is the perfect length, not so long that it gets in the road and not too short to hold in one's teeth. Also, was surprised by partner slipping chain over head during use (so that clamps were still attached to me, but chain was around the back of partner's neck). These also work well on ... ahem, other areas of the body. The clamps have rubber (rubber-like?)
